I (26F) am still a virgin and I’m not on any type of BC and don’t plan to be for a while or unless my doctors say is really necessary and that my body will not have crazy side effects like it did the first time . Even if I was on birth control I would still ask for a condom because I want to limit my chances of pregnancy as close to 0 as possible , obviously if I’m not on birth control then we’re either not having sex or you’re wearing a condom.
Anyway, I was having this conversation with someone and they said to me “good luck then ,cause you’ll probably won’t get much opportunity once you tell them this”. And it got me thinking, like “do men really just leave women because they have to wear a condom?”. To me that sounds childish, a condom is literally protecting you and not causing bodily harm to you but you would leave if the person you’re dating asked you to wear one?
To me it sounds ridiculous but if that’s how it is then I’ll rather be single my whole life if I’m honest.
