So, this past semester I became friends with a guy in one of my classes. I asked him out one day, and he rejected me. Nbd, I just figured he wasn’t interested. We still continue to make conversation during class, occasionally going out-of-his-way to walk with me to my next class. Today, I found out by one of the girl’s in the class that he has a gf of three years. She said it was like pulling teeth to get it out of him. I’m confused, because I’ve asked him about his weekends before and it would’ve been really easy to let me know he wasn’t interested by casually mentioning he watched a movie with his gf or something.

When I told my friend this, she said she got in a fight with her bf once because none of his coworkers knew he had a gf. I think he was loyal too, just felt uncomfortable ever bringing it up.

Meanwhile, ik everything about the men and women the girl’s around me are dating .

Ig, I’m just curious on why some guys are so bashful about disclosing this information. Does it feel too vulnerable to bring up? Is it a modesty thing? Idk give me the tea!
