After digging through the FAQ and the archive, I didn’t see any discussions of this from the past few years.

  1. Genuinely nothing. I barely care sports as is, at least not enough to spend money or time on it.

  2. Free tickets, same as with men’s professional sports. I’m not particularly interested in any of it, but like I’d go if I had nothing else going on that day and didn’t have to spend any money.

  3. Nothing, I don’t like sports and I don’t think I’d ever spend serious money on it.

I barely keep up with regular sports haha

  4. Knowing someone who is on the team.

I went to high school with several members of the PWHL which got me to tune into the games.

  5. Depends on the sport, but probably not much tbh. I’m not interested in watching professional sports regardless of gender for the most part. I enjoy parts of the Olympics and enjoy seeing some of the types of sports included there, but I’m never going to be interested in watching the big team sports like football, soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, etc. I just don’t find it entertaining or interesting, so I don’t seek it out.

  6. I don’t care at all about sports unless one of my kids is on the team. Then I’d support the fuck out of it and watch every game.

  7. Well, i only really watch sports during the Olympics. Otherwise it exists in the background of my life. Men’s or women’s.

If it was more of a local thing and it had some community centered thing attached to it I’d probably go tho.

  8. Easier access and fun promotions

I already watch a decent amount of women’s sports and more women’s sports than men’s sports so it’s not so much about getting me to watch it’s about how easy it is to watch while I’m cleaning or doing work stuff.

Even though there’s been significant improvement, especially in collegiate sports, over the last couple years women’s sports are often still regulated to the hard to find or have to buy channels and a lot of cities/towns just don’t have professional women’s sports leagues.
