How can I adapt to my boyfriends kinks?

So I (19f) have a boyfriend(21m). I feel like i am a pretty openminded person but my preferences in sex are considered rather boring, i like the basic stuff. However my boyfriend told me to go to a sexshop with him and buy a strap on. I was pretty confused since he never told me he was into that before, also he didnt even ask if i want to, he acted like its fundamental. I told him im not sure if i would want to do that, but honestly i was almost sure i wouldnt. Afterwards he told me he is really into BDSM and he wants me to do some other stuff too, including me tying him up, using whips and ,,doing wathever i want to do with him’’. Problem is i dont want to do anything with him like that… Since then i looked into it more cause at first i wasnt sure and i tought there is a chance i could like it, but i watched a lot of videos and they all made me feel terrible and honestly i found them rather repulsive. I just really dont like the concept i guess. Is there any way i could change my mind, cause i really want to make my boyfriend happy? Also i would love to hear from people in similar situations, how did you solve it?
