If you had an idea at work for example, how did you get it from idea to reality.

  1. By being reckless, I just said “Fuck it, let’s do it” and did it

In my case it was leaving my country, scary as fuck to do but sooooo glad I did.

  2. I’m fortunately in a role where my ideas are taken seriously. It’s frustrating how long it takes to get full buy in for every department who needs to though. Lots of up and down ladders. But I’m not about to just do anything and make work for others that their supervisors haven’t assigned. That’s corporate suicide.

  3. I told my boss and the client about it, and they helped me make it come true. I kept bringing in ideas and implementing them, and was eventually promoted. So now when I have an idea I mostly run it by the client and then implement it with my team.

  4. When I was junior I just implemented them myself. As I became more senior, I had more success in convincing other people to join me on implementing them. Now I could just explain some of them to other people and say “we should do this” and they would do it. It’s part of the perk of being fairly senior 🙂
