So I know what happened to us is basically a cliche. But I’m honestly so confused on what happens now. This is my first real relationship.
So I have known my best friend for a long time. We’re the type of people who spent time with each other practically every day after school during high school and in college after classes. Even during class time we try to talk every chance we get.
So our friends thought it would be a fun idea to play this drinking game. They deliberately set it up so we’d kiss. Well, HOLY FUCKING SHIT, did it feel good to kiss her. I guess she felt the same way because when we briefly stopped kissing but we were still holding each other, she started a second round of kissing. And then before we left to our dorms she kissed me again.
Now this happened some weeks ago.
Since then, we decided to accept reality that we like each other A LOT and say we are bf and gf. But neither of us knows what that means. Do we have to have sex? Neither of us feel ready to have sex yet. Can we just spend time with each other and make out?
TL;DR Best friends become bf and gf. How does that change relationship and what do we do now?

Do not have sex if you don’t want to. Don’t do anything you sont want to. Hanging out and getting to know eachother will make all of that better anyways.
Do what feels right and talk to eachother and open up. It will make you closer.

Once you introduce attraction to a friendship, your main change is going to be looking after one another’s emotional needs. That’s pretty straightforward: letting her know she’s attractive to you and that you really like kissing her may be all that’s required. If there’s more to it, being her best friend will see you through it.
Be as careful as you can be to keep the friendship: talking together is the soul of a good relationship.
There’s no requirement to have sex, of course: just communicate with each other about what you want and when you want it, and be kind to each other that way.
