The concept of virginity is normally about having piv sex. So no, a tampon can’t take your virginity.
You’re still a virgin unless you’ve had sex , tampons don’t take your virginity.
You are no longer a tampon virgin but if you have never had actual sex you are still a virgin. Do not confuse the possible breaking of your hymen with actual loss of virginity. Google “hymen and using tampons”.
You are still a virgin. Your mum is talking shit.
it can break your hymen, which a lot of older people associate with virginity. a lot of things can break your hymen though, like riding a bike. if you haven’t had sex, you’re still a virgin.
Virginity is a lame social construct…. No, you didn’t lose your virginity. You are just fine Hun.
“technically” does virginity not even exist.
It’s just a term that was introduced to give value to a woman, that did not yet have sexual intercourse. Which was more about devaluing women who did have pre-marital sex or sex in general.
The hymen is also not some kind of freshness seal, that rips when the vagina is penetrated for the first time. The hymen comes in a multitude of forms and almost never closes the vagina off completely (otherwise, how would period blood leave the body?). So it cannot actually be broken.
The thing is that most women are not relaxed enough during their first time, which causes cramping and pain and even bleeding.
The hymen can rip from penetration, but also from exercise, riding a horse or bicycle or other things.
Try not to worry about it.

So did your mother dousnt use a tampon????😭
There’s no universal physical basis for what constitutes “losing virginity.” It’s a social construct. Define it however you want. If you go by majority opinion, then you only “lose virginity” specifically through penis-in-vagina penetrative sex. That raises the question though, do people who do anal sex count as virgins? Do with with vaginas who only have sex with other people with vaginas count as virgins? Do people who have only penetrated themselves toys count as virgins? It’s a very subjective thing. If you’re worried about a partner’s opinion, you can always say “I’ve never had sex” or something like that.
