I’m in high school now, i’m probably the most awkward person, outside of school i’m a shut-in videogames nerd.
I look average, I’d say a 5/10, but i have very poorly social skills, i can’t make friends.
I never understood dating or relationships so i just would go to the person i was interested in and tell them i liked them.
I don’t currently have anyone i am interested in, but i wanted to know more incase i do start developing feelings for someone.

Depends on who you ask because everybody is different.
ask them questions, get to know them. thats a good start
If you can’t make friends, work on that first, before you even think about dating.
I advise you to work on your social skills and making friends first. If you lack those skills, dating will be infinitely harder
