My partner is wanting to introduce me being more dominating in bed including me fucking him. How would I go about exploring this to gain more confidence in taking control and letting him have/explore what he wants? I do want to be more dominating in bed as it is something I enjoy, but i sometimes don’t know what to do.

I would start with this: “Show me, literately act out, what being more dominant in bed looks like for you. What would turn you on?”
Some people ask for a big personality switch, but then want it to be/feel organic. I reject that approach. Treat it like roleplay. You’ll roleplay his dom, but he can’t just demand or request it and back away from helping you fulfill it. It’s a joint project
This was really challenging for me as well. I kind of had to get into a different character. I don’t (and really can’t) do it all the time.
