I won’t hear from a guy I’m seeing for maybe a day or two sometimes more after we’ve been regularly texting (sometimes a lot, sometimes a little) over a period of 3 – 5 days then he’ll randomly send me pix of his Son, or of the Sunset, or a tub of ice cream he’s currently got (and getting into), but nothing else. In my mind that’s kind of – I don’t have much to say atm but I’m thinking of you.
Keen to get a male perspective on this.
He lives about a 10 hour drive from me or so, so I only see him when he’s down here somewhat regularly.

Maybe he doesn’t value text conversations?
as a young man growing up, my father always taught me to not respond to someones text for a few days then send them pictures of the sunset, my son, and food. Its just part of being a man
