I don’t know about those shows but a lot is missing because they sell it to other platforms. You’re paying a license but you need to purchase Netflix to watch something made by the BBC
They need to make it a streaming service with a full catalogue of all BBC made content.
Could be anything. Could be dodgy content that wouldnt fly now, could be licensing has run out for music used, could be actors appearing in them that got yewtree’d, there might only be a few episodes in the archives, they may be putting a few up to judge interest.
Only way to know for sure is to ask them
Probably rights.
BBC doesn’t own everything they broadcast.
They upload stuff to iPlayer for so many months after last broadcast.
If they showed one episode of something within that time frame then you’ll just see that one episode
