Men, when was the last time you were really excited about the news?

  1. I read the news today oh boy. About a lucky man who made the grade. Although the news was rather sad, I just had to laugh. I saw the photograph.

  2. When both Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady were eliminated from the playoffs in the same week.

Basically the world has been downhill since 2000.

  3. Around 5 p.m. today when they show the 1st image form the James Webb telescope.

  4. Excited in an optimistic, hopeful way? Probably never.

Excited in a dread-filled angst-ridden way? Every other day.

  5. I think when the covid restrictions were beginning to lift. I wasn’t hardline anti lockdown and wasn’t in the “let it rip” camp, but when the vaccine had became available to all, and a majority of people had it, I wanted to get back to being able to see my friends and do the things I had missed doing.

  6. When it was becoming more ans more clear that the russian military is utterly incompetent and Ukraine started turing it arround.

    Slava Ukraini! Heroyam slava!

  7. About 3 weeks ago. After 10+ years of silence, there was a teaser for a Trigun anime production. It’s been 24 years since the anime ended (with an original ending no less) and 15 since the manga ended. Naturally, I was hyped as fuck that we were getting a reboot that follows the manga.

But NOPE! It’s *another* original story that NOBODY ever asked for.

  8. When James Webb was successfully launched. Today is looking to be a good day, as well, with the first images coming out.

  9. Not in a long time. My parents complain about news stories in the morning and at night they watch news shows that gets them upset. In the middle of the day their moods are blah due to engulfing themselves in news.

  10. When they announced the latest extension of the student loan pause a few months ago.

  11. Right now, since I’m excited about the James Webb Space Telescope pictures. I wonder if they will be as revolutionary as Hubble’s pictures were in its day.
