Hi,

I recently had my first time and it ended up being a disaster, I couldn’t manage to stay hard when I put the condom.
I received a fellatio beforehand and it was kinda dry so I didn’t really feel anything.
I tried to test at home to stay hard while putting a condom and everytime I went soft
Since I use lube when I masturbate, I tried to put lube before putting the condom and I stayed hard. I was wondering if using lube, not necessary a lot, before putting the condom was a good idea to have sex with someone. I kinda think that the condom might slip up going back and forth.

Thanks

  1. You can certainly use a small amount of lube at the very tip only, on the inside of the condom. You don’t want lube on the part that touches the shaft though for the very reason you mentioned.

And just to cite my sources, a quick google search returns this same info from several educational institutions and state health agencies along with planned parenthood.

Edit: a wee comma for clarity

  2. It might come off way easier if the penis is lubed before condom use. However a tiny drop of lube in the tip of the condom can feel a bit better. And condom should stay on just fine.

But if your penis is super lubed not a good idea.

Also loss of erections Is either a physical problem or it’s psychological and most likely anxiety.
