Listened, and adjusted her support based on my needs at the time. Must have been hard for her because I didn’t even know what I needed
Lost my dad 6 months ago on Wednesday.
My wife has just constantly reminding me of all the good times my dad and I had together. She’s been asking me to tell her stories about him from when I was younger, and listening to them with interest. She’s picked up slack around the house from the things I have let slide, and just been super supportive of me.

All of this while she has been grieving as well (my dad was the first positive male role model she had in her life, and grew to love him as her own dad).
