Women of Reddit, why do you go to festivals?

1. I feel my full complete, free self at music festivals!

2. Like music festivals? Usually because an artist I like is playing.

3. Cause I like music and enjoy festivals where I can sing along to artists I listen to

7. Street festivals are probably one of my favourite things to do in the summer. Shopping, snacking, getting some exercise

8. I’ve only been to a couple. I prefer to go to headliner tours so I don‘t have to run to another stage for the bands I like.

9. Giant turkey legs.

10. To listen to the live music I like and dance

11. When I’ve gone, it was because I wanted to go enjoy the music, art, dancing, and/or experience with friends depending on the type of festival.

12. Beer wenches and corsets. So many corsets.

13. Live music is my favorite indulgence but sadly I’m of the age where festival lineups just skew so young and I think those days may be past me. Although I’m still down for lawn seats at a show 🥳
