My (f22) and boyfriends (m31) anniversary is in august! He is a simple man and the only gifts he wants are if they have a function. For his birthday, I’m getting him a massage gun, shorts, belt, a 14 in 1 knife, and an assortment of beef jerky and of course, a sentimental little thing.
But for our anniversary?? I have no idea.
He loves the gym.
He’s into anime.
Outdoorsy.
And he loves food. Big foodie.
Doesn’t do music but has 1 podcast he listens to.
I searched for other ideas on here but nothing stood out.
Please please help me!!! I want to do something different than what I’m getting him for his birthday.

Well does he cook? What kind of stuff? A good tool for that, that’s a kind-of luxury item that’s very functional.
My husband also loves practical gifts and food, so I got him Bokksu one year….it’s curated monthly food boxes from Japan! Fun thing we shared together, he really loved it.
One of those niche in person cooking course weekends or butchery if meats his thing ?
See the thing is that if you just get one item per occasion, then you actually have Christmas , anniversary , birthday, may the fourth, etc covered.
As far as functional stuff goes, a good drill and impact driver set will actually be very useful. Many people may not think about that because they think, how many times will they need it, but when you need it , it’s going to be really good and helpful.
A blender or mixer or even slow cooker are also useful.
