Me and my coworker have a joking relationship. We take jabs at eachother calling eachother out.
Him: what you doing?
Me: your mama!
Our jokes were always surface lvl until one day he started calling me fat. Then lazy.
I would walk by and he’d say, hey fat boy!! Or lazy boy. You dont do no work!!!
We dont know much about eachothers personal lives. I keep it that way because he is a big mouth. He would tell your personal issues to others just to have a conversation.
One time we were talking about work and the conversation died down. Then he goes “did you know alan and his wife are in marriage counseling”
He’s been calling me fat and lazy. He’s never done that before, is he getting mad at me?

Idk if he’s mad but sometimes people think jokes are fine if you don’t say anything about them being not okay.
Just have a conversation with him. “Hey I know we usually joke around, but the comments about my weight are a sensitive topic for me and I’d appreciate it if you didn’t say things like that anymore.”
Calling you fat is taking it too far I think
