Try to figure out what causes you to become awkward. Could be people’s responses or reactions to what you’re saying.
You live and learn. I doubt anyone is always as smooth as butter in every conversation. You’ll just get better at socializing the more you do it, picking things up here and there.
Just don’t beat yourself up over the awkward moments because no one will remember exactly what you said anyway. People will likely only remember how you made them feel, so just be genuine.
