I live in a coal mining town in western PA which has a very liberal state university attached to it. There are 0 non political people
In most areas of the country the majority of people don’t even vote. We are one of the most depoliticized nations on Earth.
61.5% of my county turned out in 2020, so more than half are at least kinda political.
Not surprising considering it’s a liberal city with a decently sized university.
I think Kentucky overall was at 64% turnout.

People have their opinions, but if you mean political like how I think you mean political, then I pretty much exclusively run into political types online.
I’m not sure I’ve ever met a non-political person. What would such a person be like?
Not publicly in any case. And given turnouts in this state probably not privately, either.
I live in an area where there’s enough of one side that it becomes a non-factor in daily interaction.
There are plenty of people who don’t have a strong party identity around my area. Most have some opinions on some issues but it’s not uncommon to meet someone who “isn’t into politics.”
