So I’ve never bought condoms in my life, and this is quite embarrassing but I have nobody else to ask. Years ago I recieved a condom from these random condom company promoters, so I decided to try and see if it fits me. It felt like my penis would explode, I had to literally puncture it to take it off and it kinda scared me.

Years later I’m on the time of life where I should know what size/brand of condom I should buy, and from what I could investigate, there’s not much for me in my country (I think)

My problem is the following: from my research, I should be buying condoms with a nominal width of 70mm, but literally every brand in my country goes from 50 to 55mm (I don’t remember the size/brand of the one I tried).

My question ends up being: would a 50-55mm width condom be okay? Will it be like the experience I wrote here? will it break during the act? And if anyone here is from Chile, and has the same problem: Que wea hago.

  1. Many countries only really have one size of condom. You can order them online in any size from various places.

  2. Condoms are like shoes. You really need to try them on to find out what’s best for you. See if you can find singles, sample packs, or even variety packs. Numbers may help get you started but the shape and even hardness of our anatomy can have a huge impact on what feels comfortable.

I’ve been recommending Rip N Roll, Condom Depot, and World Condoms lately for normal condoms, but you may want to look into MyONE or MySize for custom fits options. Can be a game changer if regular condoms just don’t work.
