She (25) has studied in the past (Bachelors in Architecture, 5 years) in UWE Bristol and carries nearly a year of work experience outside of UK, irrelevant to BArch. Thanks to Covid.

Post which, now she’s headed to the UK for an MBM (Masters in Business and Management) degree from Strathclyde.

I’m finding her chances bleak for some reason. What do you guys think? She does not wish to pursue architecture anymore and wants to enter corporate.

Edit: My question is in view with the current economic situation UK is facing. Would that pose a barrier?

  2. She’s probably better in corporate, Architecture, like other high skill jobs is very poorly paid in the UK. The money is in management, as long as she gets her foot in the door.

  3. Does she have the right to stay here and work?

The economic situation is less of an issue than the visa situation.
