Hey guys! In May, I (16F, junior) was trying to get out of my bubble at school and to connect with this cute transfer student guy (~17/18? M, senior) who I would make eye contact with often in the halls. He often stood around on his phone outside of my last class before the bell rang so I thought it wouldn’t be too hard to approach him. Anyways, one day I chatted with him at lunch and although the convo wasn’t terribly productive, we did exchange instas. His english was a little shaky, and he was pretty reserved, but still nice and polite.I also said I’d say hi to him in the hall when i saw him. Later that evening, he liked every single one of my posts.
A few weeks go by and I chat with him almost every day between my last two classes. nice! He waved at me in the halls. Cute! Honestly a great thing. He did this thing where he’d shake my hand, or like… half dap me up? I even invited him to a show I was performing in (I gave him my free ticket bc why not), and he showed up, and he came up to me and said i did great, like, two separate times right after the show.
I thought things were going really well, so I asked him one day as we were walking out of school together if he would keep in touch after graduation. He said yeah, but I said a dumb thing like “really? I wouldn’t if I were you” and immediately took it back.
Let’s fast foreword to his last day of school. We had a bittersweet conversation before class, and walked out of school together. It was rlly cute. I asked if he’d want to hang out over the summer and he said sure, so I was like ok I’ll text you. We say goodbye.
That evening, I DM him and say hi. he likes my message. I was a bit confused, but assumed everything was ok. A couple days later I say what’s up (sooo bad ik😭😭😭) and he leaves me on seen.
A couple days later, he graduated and immediately blocked me and changed his entire account. The End.
Ok. I don’t expect to ever talk to this guy again, but I just want to know what you guys think of this situation? I feel rlly lead on… but did he really even lead me on? help 😭 This whole thing is just bothering me a lot, and I need some outside opinions

Wow that’s really cold on his end… It doesn’t sound like you offended him in any way. That sucks
You were doing a lot of initiating. If he was really interested you would of had to (figuratively speaking) “beat him off with a stick!”
However, this role was vice versa. He just didn’t feel the same way and was just being polite/nice the few times yall spoke.
