I think it would be pretty funny if a screenshot of the chat would be send to the person’s mother
In my state right now, it’s just a misdemeanor and a $500 fine. I feel like that’s ok for first time offenders but repeated offenders should receive a higher fine and 1-3 months in jail.
The same punishment that is given to flashers I think.
Here it is treated as sexual harrassment, and will be tried as such
100ft blow-up billboard of the offending picture posted outside the offenders workplace, place of worship, and family residence.
Either the same or a bit smaller punishment as someone flashing in public, same for both men and women.
I think that if they sent them via text, they should lose access to texting for a period of time. If they did it online, lose access to the internet. Probably also some mandatory counseling and a steep fine that goes to help victims of sex crimes.
Public shaming and it should be in the same category as sexual harassment.
If I haven’t explicitly asked for a picture of your naked body, please refrain yourself from sending them. I once made a screenshot of a dickpick on Snapchat (didn’t post it anywhere though) so the person received a notification and went in panic mode. I deleted the screenshot from my phone but it was enough for him to learn his lesson.
It’s also something I’ll be teaching my children. Do I have anything against nudes? No, not at all but I will be teaching my children not to expose themselves in that way.
The same as indecent exposure laws.
It’s shocking that someone can just send you a picture of their genitals with no recourse.
It’s sexual harassment and digital “flashing” -they should get the same punishment as flashing someone in person.
