If you dont have much money and need new clothes its fine to but shien just not a million clothes and 50 order every week
Shien is fast Fashion, they steal designs and use kids as their workers
Because shein and other similar sites are exploiting their workers. People don’t or barely get paid, they possibly even employ children. These people suffer just so we can walk around with the cheapest top possible. It’s not about you not being rich it’s about people’s lives.

Companies like Zara or Shein unfortunately have a very bad reputation because of child labor and stealing from other companies’ designs. Zara, for example, is constantly sued, only a few years ago even by a very large company.
Shein produces its goods mainly in India and China and the rivers in India are now heavily chemically contaminated. Also, the waters are full of clothes, because everything is disposed of directly as soon as it is no longer in-style.
Because its not just shien or designer that’s the only choice. Shien steals designs and is fast fashion, if you want cheaper designer clothes get second hand.
Shein is an awful company.
Justine Leconte did a brilliant video that explains it best – [Fast fashion at its worst](https://youtu.be/st5Ij9fz754)
Ethically speaking, all fast fashion brands are bad. Shein is no different to any of the top designers when it comes to this though. Anything that is mass produced comes at a price of child labour or poor working conditions. Even Nike, etc.
However, people who throw shade about just Shein are just out of touch with social economic reasons why people shop there. They might just be throwing shade to feel better about themselves, too.
