Having moved to a big city recently and there are way too many people on the app, went to many dates, liked people that didn’t like me back, attracted some people that are compatible but I have no chemistry with. Trying not to swipe everyday but also feeling lost and hopeless after seeing my friends settling down with long term partners and getting married. I’ve always been looking for a serious relationship and don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I think it’s beginning to take a toll on my mental health. Getting ghosted is really not a good feeling and hurts my confidence, been on the apps sporadically over 3.5 years and resorted in 1 relationship.

  1. Ditch the apps. Go to social events, hang out with friends, pursue activities you like where someone similar to you might be. Dating culture is alive and well, even on apps. It just seems too much time on the screen gets toxic for a lot of people here.
