How do I deal with genital warts amidst the end of a 3 year relationship? I’m worried that my bf and I may break up in the next year or so and I’m scared of the idea of dating after having had genital warts, does anyone have any advice ?

So I’ve been with my boyfriend for a long time, he’s my best friend and it’s been a really great relationship. Unfortunately my diagnosis of genital warts has really thrown a spanner in the works for me (I got them from him around 9 months ago). The warts have impacted my ability to enjoy sex as much, due to negative mental health. Not to mention, they have made me feel slightly trapped in my relationship as I worry about dating if we broke up. Part of me wants a last year or so of freedom before settling down, but I’m starting to think this is not possible.

Can I still have one night stands in the years after having an outbreak genital warts?
Will people reject me for having the virus?

Any general dating with genital warts tips would really help. I’m confused as to whether they actually go away anymore and it’s become a very distressing issue for me.
