What makes you miss being single?

  1. I like to get up and have my cereal and wake up a bit and spend all that “get ready for the day” time alone. Give me 45 minutes before you ask me 1 question

    That’s the only thing really

  2. Not having to worry about her texting back. I’ll text back Immediately but it takes her an hour.

  3. Already single again, but one of the things I didn’t realize I was even missing was being able to sleep without getting shoved to the edge of the bed

  4. Not to sound like a dick, but sex with new women. No matter how much you spruce up your sex life with your SO, it’s the same woman.

  5. My house being the way i want it wll the time. I had it set up a specific way. I left her alone there for one day. One day. My plates are under the counters, my cutlery in the cabinets above my cups in a drawer and the pots and pans which i had stacked she put into a cabinet where my baking stuff was and swithed the spot without removing the rack the pots and pans were stacked on. It was in order before her chaos. She also rearranged my living room. Heaven forbid the loveseat be parallel to the window, everyone knows that’s crazy, i should be perpindicular to it. Those tiny holes in the wall? She was going to hang pictures and then decided not to. I miss my house being my house that has a frequent visitor who thinks it’s okay to rearrange everything. Which is the crazy thing. She doesn’t live at my house.

  6. … nothing

Honestly having a nice partner is always better than being single.

  7. If I’m with someone that wants to constantly text or be on the phone when we’re apart. Ffs

  8. There are times when I miss meeting a new woman and flirting with her. Wondering if I’ll see her again. Thinking about how much I want to, how to arrange it. Could still idly flirt with women now without causing offense, of course. But I’m in a committed relationship, so I know nothing’s going to *happen*.

I’m not feeling sorry for myself all the time, or anything like that. But it can be fun to…shop around, for lack of a better term. For some people. Lots of people say they don’t like dating, but I really do.

  9. Back before she left, it was the feeling of emotional security. I wanted to be able to enjoy the things I enjoy, and not have to worry 24/7 about having to tiptoe around her anxiety. I was more than happy to stay and help her work through it, but she was less than enthusiastic
