It’s popular at around fair time. You might see them at the occasional food truck event. Otherwise they’re not hugely popular.
Yes. It’s not something you’d make at home but very popular at any fair or festival.
At fairs and maybe some small sporting events, sure. It’s not something seen on restaurant menus.

I was at an event in Mass and they had maybe 60 food trucks/stalls with food. Funnel cake wasn’t one. Guessing because it’s seen a bit as a kids sweet.
