2. Huge fan of the MCU because of the story, effects, and acting. Love John Wick, war movies, boxing movies, sci-fi movies, all of it. Just a big fan of big effects and violence with humor thrown in.

3. the on-screen female action hero is a fairly recent phenomenon, but there are already plenty of examples to choose from. here are some of my favess:
   lara croft from the “tomb raider” franchise is a strong and resourceful archaeologist who always manages to come out on top, no matter what the odds are against her.
   beatrix kiddo from “kill bill” is an expert martial artist and swordswoman who takes on an entire group of assassins by herself and comes out victorious.

4. Recent-ish ones I enjoyed coming to mind at the moment:

   – MM: Fury Road

   – Tenet

   – Everything Everywhere All At Once

   I’m over these for the moment:

   MCU over the past few years with the exception of Black Panther and Shang-Chi

   Same old formulaic crap we see over and over. I swear I have watched Extraction on Netflix three times and can’t remember what differentiates it from the pack of other troubled-vet/mercanary-with-a-heart-of-gold story out there.

5. Ooh boy where do I start.

   I love Marvel (except Infinity War and Dr strange 2 don’t exist, i refuse). Shang Chi and Winter Soldier are 2 favs.

   Ip Man and Ong Bak are a couple favorite martial arts trilogies.

   Anything with Keanu Reeves or Denzel Washington. Especially Chain Reaction and the Equalizer.

   Love a good heist, Italian Job and Now You See Me are favs there.

   So yeah, I like ones with good acting, interesting plots, and good character development. Plus, ya know, lots of exciting chase scenes and wham bam violence.

6. Aliens, True Lies, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Ronin, Bourne Identity, Heat, Die Hard (1-4), Predator….pretty much any action film that has a lot of shooting, spies, aliens/space stuff, car chases, strong female characters and Deadpool.

7. Too many to name, but it all started with Raiders of the Lost Ark.

   Favorites: Heat, Aliens, French Connection, Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon, La Femme Nikita, and The Matrix.

8. I love Steven Seagal and Nicolas Cage movies

   But I really hate almost every movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme in it..

9. Fave movie of probably all-time is The Fifth Element. I tend to gravitate towards sci-fi. The Matrix and District 9 are up there too. I’m not really into MCU movies, some are just SO freakin long or it least it feels that way when you aren’t completely into it lol (don’t come for me MCU fans I’m sorry 😬😱 lol).

10. Black Crab, Train to Busan, Alien Vs. Predator, Kate, Transformers movies, Resident Evil movies, I am Legend, War of the Worlds, Marvel movies, Everything Everywhere all at once, Fantastic Four and The Incredibles are some I like

12. I’ll watch any action flick that features Liam Neeson. I can’t say I’ve ever watched a movie he was in that I didn’t like. Also, anything with Jason Statham, Bruce Willis or the Denzel.

13. I absolutely adore the Fast and Furious series from Tokyo Drift to the latest one. I like them because they are so absolutely off the wall bonkers and silly and basically soap operas. I absolutely hate action movies that take themselves too seriously. Not my thing.
