We went on 2 dates. I thought the date went well, and we talked vaguely about future plans. We kissed, held hands. He texted me to say he got home safe and I said I had a fun time. Well, that was Friday. And now it’s Tuesday. Haven’t heard anything.
I always debate whether to even bother, as in my experience, if a guy is really interested— he’ll reach out. Though sometimes I also know men think the same about women. Ugh. I hate dating.

Text him to see if he wants to meet for lunch or coffee. That signals interest but not entrancement.
His response or lack of one will be telling. if he doesn’t respond, has a lukewarm response or says hes busy this week but maybe later, assume that he is no longer interested and move on.

Yes you’re right, under no circumstances text him first after a date this early on, that’ll just show him you’re desperate and he can at least get sex out of it, even tho he doesn’t care anymore. I’d already assume he’s not interested and move on. It’s been literal days. Man who likes you will text you like… Same day. From every single experience I had.
Sounds like he ain’t interested.
