I’ve been talking to this guy for a couple weeks now. He seems very sweet and into me and I like him. At the beginning he didn’t want anything more than just hook ups and stuff but now he’s saying he likes me and would like to go out with me and date me. He says that he sees potential with more than one night with me. How do I know that he’s genuine about wanting to date me for real?

Did you start a casual relationship with him, or did you tell him you wanted something serious? It’s a bit strange that he has changed his tune so quickly. It would make more sense if more time had passed and he started to develop feelings. Two weeks doesn’t seem like enough time to go from wanting something casual, to wanting more
