a bit of background: let’s call this girl Julia. i’ve only met julia once but i’ve always liked her, definitely my type. We’re both into art, she makes paintings & i make photoshop digital art, i swiped up with a fire emoji a couple days ago on one of the paintings she posted and she replied back with “thank you eric” and the new hand symbol emoji that holds up the heart shape. Now she reposted one of the album covers i made for a pretty significant person and i swiped up and told her “ayeee i appreciate you julia!” and she responded back with “proud of you fr” with a white heart. we have also liked several of each others of our story’s in the past.

how does she feel & how should i respond to this if i want to be in my bag? is this solid or corny / doing too much?

I think it’s a little too corny personally but she might find it cute. The best approach is to just ask her out. Something simple like an art museum date. Say something like :” are you free this weekend? there’s this really cool art museum I thought we both might like.”
