Pippi Longstocking movie intro theme
That cheap character gum they sell at Sanrio.
Late 90’s/early 2000’s pop.
Backstreet Bots, The Spice Girls, nsync, Britney Spears, etc.
The main theme from Batman (1989).
The smell of fresh bread. My mom was a terrible cook but she could bake her ass off! When she was happy, she would bake and our favorite thing was her homemade rolls. The smell of those yeasty rolls in the kitchen quite literally signaled happiness.
smell of chlorine, sunburns
Breezes off the ocean, the smell of a fresh cut lawn, flowers in my garden and old school Penny Candy
Eating cereal and watching cartoons on Saturday mornings.
A good homemade grilled cheese sandwich. 😊 My friend’s mom makes them when I hangout at her place. I’m 47 and it’s like being a kid again.
The Hannah Montana theme song
There’s nothing good that involves my parents, BUT whenever I have a fresh cherry tomato, the taste reminds me of my grandma’s garden in the summer. And earl grey tea with gingerbread men remind me of winter with her. Cheers to the lady who was the only good person from my family 🍻 Wish she had lived past my 7th birthday.
I swear this is not an advertisement but Fabreeze made a limited edition Ginger verbena air freshener which smells like my happiest moments at home as a child. I have one bottle of it left. It was discontinued years ago and I have been rationing my “happy smell” and using it only when I feel awful.
The smell of the exhaust of a school bus
90’s Fisher Price Little People Big Discoveries (from when I was 3/4 yrs old) and Crashbox (from when I was 10/11 yrs old)
Summertime rain! And me splashing about as if time would just stay still while it rained.
the smell of crayola crayons and the smell of maseca
Old cartoons and disney shows
Old Pokemon cards

Going to my grandpas cabin. We spent the entire summer up there as kids and instantly makes me feel 8 years old when I pull up the driveway
GTA and the music we would listen to while playing it
Cherry Tootsie Pops! My dad bought them for me all the time.
Hearing lawn mowers on a sunny day ☀️
*Cue Ratatouille scene of childhood nostalgia*
Whenever I eat warm, sweet pudding that tastes like my Mom’s, I’m 6 years old again…

Getting ice cream from the ice cream man
90s video games, tube TVs, VHS, cassettes
The smell of Marlboro smoke. My grandma was a smoker and man, that smell just sets me back as a kid. Also, the particular smell of a damp summer morning in late summer. I’m a kid camping in along the Jacks Fork or Current rivers again.

Pokémon, spyro the dragon, any video games from that Era that I still play for nostalgia. Strawberry shortcake ice cream bars. Seaweed and rice, cinnamon sugar toast. Percolated coffee. The smell of cherry pipe tobacco that my dad used to smoke.
Macgyver theme song, not the reboot but the original starring Richard Dean Anderson. I used to always watch that show when I was younger because nerd. 😛
Hearing grunge music, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and Nirvana.
Edit: The Nintendo and Super Nintendo video game systems too. I own both of those Nintendo mini-game systems that were released a couple years back.
The smell of Murphy’s Oil Soap. My mom used it to clean when we moved into my grandfather’s home that he gave to us. It’s a comfort smell.
Cartoon theme songs.
Madonna and Babyface – Take a Bow
Any reference to Whitney Houston and The Bodyguard
That time I saw Big League Chew at Big Lots in the mid 2000s
Tales from the Crypt
Buying an antenna last year at Walmart and dancing with it for five minutes to get a signal so I could live watch Greys Anatomy and talk shit about it in the forum
Going to my grandparents house , or going to the pond in the neighbourhood I used to live in . So many memories and happy times .
Flumps.
Bringing out all my childhood decorations for halloween and Christmas. It’s the same stuff but somehow it always feels like opening a time capsule.
