What’s your least favorite part of the online shopping experience?

  1. I think it’s best to buy clothes in-person because you can try them on to see if they fit or not. For online clothes shopping, I love buying pajamas.

  2. I only buy clothes online from brands I already know, and only if they allow for easy, free returns.

  3. It’s because depending on the brand/type/colour you could be like 5 different sizes. There is no consistency. Plus jeans are something that fits differently in the butt, hips and thighs in every pair. So a size 16 might fit me fine everywhere but the wasit. Another size 16 is too loose everywhere. Another too tight. The numbers mean nothing.

  4. It’s so interesting how for me FashionNova has had the best sizing. I need to have the waist, hip and length listed descriptively in the website or I won’t be buying there. Some stores are terrible and just say “Mode is 5’3 and wearing a size M” WTF does that tell me??

  5. The biggest issue for me is my height. I’m not even that tall, I’m 5′ 11” . Just tall enough that I need the tall section of trousers and jeans. Normally at this point my waist size is sold out or I don’t like the colour.

The worst is shoes. Size 42 just doesn’t always seem to exist for heeled shoes. The cut off is always something like 40 or 41.

  6. The inconsistency! I’ve purchased jeans for Zara in the past and I’ve given up on them. I buy my usual size every time and literally every time I order they’re way to big in the waist, or I can get them past my hips, or they’re way too long, or even though I bought “straight” leg they’re practically bell bottoms. So annoying

  7. Because women’s clothing sizes are determined by pulling random numbers out of hats for sizes and measurements and then they fit depending on the phase of the moon, your personal phase and whether or not you’ve recently inhaled in the vicinity of a cheeseburger

  8. Never buy jeans online
    Pocket shape/placement
    Waist to hip ratio
Also the size chart is never correct
I have 3 different Jean sizes
And some of them are from the same brand

  9. All the sizing is different at every retailer.

Then of course there’s this shitty thing of them fitting when you first putting them on but 20 minutes later they are warm. And now too slouchy and loose

  10. I have issues with texture of clothing. I can’t online shop for jeans because I need to feel them. Even different washes from the same brand might have a different texture. So its not even worth it for me to try with how many pairs I have had to return.

  11. Cuz u dont know if they’re gonna fit or if they’re going to give u an eternal wedgie.

  12. The size of a top doesn’t matter too much, because it will usually fit. It might be a bit bigger or smaller, but you can still wear it.
With jeans it’s a different story. Too small, and you can’t wear it. Too big, and you also can’t wear it.
