Should I ask a girl how she feels after she’s said something hectic has gone on in her life.

She has been slow to respond to messages and that was the reason why she hadn’t been texting, I don’t know what to do, but I feel she’s likely not interested or feeling out her options.

It’s been a week since the first date and there’s no plans of a second.
