I am a 28 M dating a 28 F
We met online about a month ago, we finally went out last weekend, and went out again for a second date this weekend.
Now we kind of live a little distance away, it’s about an hour commute so we don’t get to see eachother all the time.
After our first date she asked about talking to other people and we both said neither of us are talking to anyone else.
We have not slept with eachother yet.
What point are we at and at what point should things progress? I’ve heard people waiting a long time and many dates to start talking about being exclusive. Also at what point is it safe to talk about sex? I don’t want to feel like I’m pressuring her or rushing her. We went out twice and planning to a third time

Ugh, these are hard questions because there isn’t a hard, fast rule on ANY of it. It’s going to depend on what you’re BOTH comfortable with. I’ve had relationships that progressed very quickly, and others that have taken more time. I will say that I personally will NOT sleep with someone unless it’s exclusive. The fact that neither of you are talking to anyone else makes you sort of “unofficially” exclusive though. Have you had anything physical between you yet? Hugs, kisses, any of that?
