hi! just had my 2nd date yesterday w this guy. When we met, he was using his phone for the first 15 minutes andš that really put me off. he used his phone during the movie also š
we had fun towards the end of date but when i got home, all i can think about is him using his phone while we were togetherš
i didnt even feel any butterflies compared to the 1st dateššš but it was interesting to see how he left multiple messages after and how we enjoyed the date
just wondering why im not interested anymoreā¦ does stomach butterflies matter in dates?

I would go on a third date to see how I feel and also let him know not to use phone while heās with you (politely) unless thereās an emergency.
Ick. That was super rude of him. Sometimes guys try to come off as “cool” and blow off the women they’re interested in. You probably didn’t feel butterflies for that reason. I think you should give him another shot, but text him saying “I’m glad you had a good time, but you were on the phone so much, I am worried I was boring you. It’s really embarrassing to me that you used your phone during the movie.” If you set your expectations early, then he’ll know the display he was putting on isn’t attractive to you. Try another date after setting your expectations, and see if the butterflies come back.
