What is your experience of the way you are treated when wearing make up vs without it?

  1. I don’t really notice any difference. If I wear a bold colored lipstick, maybe a few more looks if I’m out and about.

One time I went to work with no makeup and one coworker thought I was sick (dark eye circles) but that’s the only comment I have ever got about makeup or makeuplessness.

  2. The only difference is that people ask me if am I tired when I don’t wear a concealer, but that’s all

  3. Usually no difference, sometimes when I don’t wear make up people assume that I am younger

  4. I’m treated as invisible if I don’t wear makeup, noticed and smiled at if I wear makeup.

  5. Friends and coworkers-no difference

Strangers- I get more looks from random ppl.

Once me and some friends were going on a party cruise. They brought this guy I’d never met before and he completely ignored me when we all met up to board the ship. (I was ugly wearing no make up and sweat pants) Like hardly said hi and was almost rude. I didn’t think much about until later when we were going for drinks and I had dolled up. Make up, outfit and hair; all on point. Oh boy he was all over me trying to flirt 😂 like what did he even expect?.. even if I was interested I would never have gone for him after he’d been so shallow he couldn’t even be civil towards me when I was ugly.

  6. I wear make-up sporadically, no difference much. People are used to my natural face. I’m complimented plenty regardless. I’m so fortunate to have great (black) skin and features so I’m glad.
