My whole was mostly studying and playing videogames when I could, when it comes to childhood it was okay but my teenage years (13 to 18) were the same. I never did anything else, I never hanged out with friends or went outside alone.

I’m 19 now but I feel like I never really lived my life and these day I’m doing almost the same, I’m always working on my computer and trying to find a job and helping my family in what I can.

  1. You just described a version of normal teenage years.

Find a job or activity that gets you out there and meeting folks a bit is all you need. You’ll realize you are more normal than you thought.

  2. Problem: I don’t go out and do things on my own

Solution: go outside and do things on your own

How: think, make a list, search the net for things to do, ask people for suggestions where you live about what’s going on. Pick something and commit to it. If you like one of these things do it again.

Look up the difference between “motive” and “motivation” and sit with those definitions and the thoughts it brings. Try to apply them to the things you want to do but aren’t or the things you have to do but don’t want to.

If you meet people doing these things, make the effort to have a conversation rather than not communicate because you’re used to not communicating with strangers.

Just start doing the opposite to what’s not working for you. See what does work. Surprise yourself.

You don’t need permission to do this, give yourself the gift of freedom.

  3. Find something you want to do. I was feeling like I hadnt don’t much the past few years and needed a change. I was always interested in climbing so I started and made a bunch of new friends.
