Had a really great date with a guy and he followed up wanting to make plans again. We talked a bit over the weekend and then he texted me to ask if I wanted to go to a concert (a genre I’m not into) and said he’d buy my $50 ticket, but offered we could do something else if not. I said I wasn’t into that type of music (overstimulating) but that I’d be down to get dinner or drinks.
That was 4 hours ago and he read it but hasn’t respond. Is it possible I offended him? Was it rude to say no?

Absolutely not, especially since you offered an alternative. However, he might see a lack of compatibility in music taste a deal breaker.
The guy that does not respond to you voicing your opinion is not the guy that deserves to see you again.
Maybe he had already bought the tickets.
Maybe he’s just thinking of a new date idea.
He found someone else to go with….
