How do you, whoever is reading this, meet people? How have you met people? I’m specifically wondering about adults who don’t go to places like bars or clubs. I’m honestly shocked when I hear about someone moving to a new city and they have a couple of friends within a few months somehow.
Do you just go to places for certain hobbies or do you somehow make friends with random people at the grocery store? Have you made friends with neighbors somehow? Work colleagues?
Most important; is there a different context or something for making friends versus just pleasant chit-chat?
