Not really, if you’re a dude you’ll probably get your self esteem shattered as most men barely get any matches. If you’re a woman you’ll be bombarded with “options” that can be overwhelming and a lot will just say weird shit to you or want a quick fuck

I met my first and last boyfriend online. He was nice. He was going through mental health stuff tho so we broke off after a year and 3 months because he wanted to focus more on getting better. I’m not sure if it’s worth it. If you’re looking for a long term relationship, I don’t recommend online dating. Most of the guys I find are either looking for hookups or just casual dating. It’s rare to find people who are really serious. For me, it’s a waste of time to invest on temporary people.
