I have a major crush on my tutor

He so cute and he only lives a few hours away. I’m in my early 20s and he’s in his late 20s. I think that he probably finds me attractive but I’m stuck in the zone now where I don’t want to make him uncomfortable by asking about his personal life but maybe he similarly doesn’t wanna make me uncomfortable? I’m like 90% sure he thinks I’m cute but probably kinda annoying and the other day I heard a woman’s voice during one of our calls. There’s a language barrier because he’s a language teacher and I’m not great at the language I’m studying so I have no idea how to sus out the vibe or how to be flirty/cool outside of english. Part of me feels like he doesn’t wanna lose the customer so he hasn’t mentioned a girlfriend or anything and I’m pretty sure sometimes he’s a little flirty but I literally can barely tell because it’s not my native language. Rly hoping he’s not just flirty so he can continue to the get the bag. Idk his insta or anything so I can’t really check online if he’s in a relationship. But I think about him a lot and im way too overly excited for our video calls and also in the same respect it’s made me super self critical during the lessons. Part of it is the whole teacher student thing being hot but also I’ve always really liked physically unavailable men i.e. men who are at long distance from me. It’s not like love or anything and I definitely value him too much as a teacher to risk shooting my shot. Im thinking right now about how I can slip some coy question into conversation and find out if he’s single or not but idk I already feel so awkward and above all else I don’t want to make him feel uncomfortable. Also it’s private lessons that go though the individual so it’s not going to get him in trouble or anything. Anyways this is like 90% a rant.
