I got a quote from my vets a few months ago and they quoted £178 for my 40kg+ dog. I went back this to book in and the price is £278 plus around 20 quid for the anaesthetic. They said the prices went up in April. Does this sound about right? Is it worth shopping around to try to find it cheaper.

  1. Do they have a veterinary school in the city you live in? If you do then check to see if they have a vet practice as they often need patients to train on.
