Hi all, I just started talking to a nurse who works 12 hour shifts 4 days a week, should I just expect not to see her on these days? I typically go on dates after work but she does not seem to want to do this. Understandable though, right?!

  1. Yeah I wouldn’t expect anyone to want to do anything for more than an hour after that

  2. I wouldn’t expect much out of anyone in the medical profession on days when they work. Half the time they don’t get to eat or go to the bathroom. The only reason I saw my SO who worked in medicine on work days was that we live together

  3. Totally understandable. Think of what nurses have to deal with all day, often with no breaks.

    Most the most of your time together on her days off.
