The only jilting I’ve ever seen happened on *Peep Show*, if only Jez could hold his piss…
Not quite the altar but I worked with a guy back in 1989 who’s bride ran off with the best man on the eve of the wedding; it caused a proper fall out in the family because the best man was also his cousin.
About an hour before the wedding the daughter of the bride was playing up and the groom (but not the father) said something about discipline.
Apparently it was enough to call the wedding off. As it was already paid for the reception went ahead and there was still the free bar for us.
Not quite that late but my first TL in my first job was days away from getting married and his fiancée ran off with his brother.
He was majorly down as expected and a few weeks later went out and ended up in a gay bar, met a guy and became close. Eventually fell in love and got married about 10 years later.
Somehow he learned to forgive his brother and his ex fiancée who later married his brother and they all get along well now.
Is there something weird going on or might I have carbon monoxide poisoning
So many questions seem weird
Looking to console some jilted brides ehh ,nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more ,say no more!
