Me (19F) and my best friend (18M) have known each other since 7th grade (At least 6 years). I think I have a crush on him, but sometimes I can’t tell. I’ve never dated anyone before so I don’t know how it’s supposed to feel to like someone in that way. Plus, couples sometimes say they get along so well because they are best friends- but a best friend can also be strictly platonic.
I guess I just have a hard time understanding how I feel in situations like this. It’s frustrating because I know I like him, I just don’t know if it’s because I have a crush, or because we are really good friends.
TLDR: I can’t tell if my feelings for my best friend are all platonic, or if they are romantic as well.
