i’m dating a guy and things between us are amazing when we meet, but texting is kind of complicated because we usually talk about meaningless things and it feels like none of us is very interested in the conversation. what could I text him to try and make our conversations a little more fun or deep and keep him interested?

If you’re dating you don’t need to text all the time. I feel like it’s a “getting to know you” thing and once you start seeing each other in person, the constant texting stops. It’s actually a good thing.
