Prohibition. It has tentacles everywhere.
I’ve always been a sucker for the arrival of immigrants to Ellis Island the early 20th century. I always saw it as the pinnacle of what the United Stated represents: a place where you can start anew.
I enjoy what I would call, “forgotten history” the most. People, events, battles, even entire wars that most people never heard of or have heard of but know very little about. The United States Camel Corps, for instance, is one of my favorite topics.
