people want to show respect and they want to show how great the individual can be.
I respect my fiance the most. She taught me discipline, self respect, and how to be loved again.
My Uncle:
– Children will always take all of the money you have. Have them while you’re young and poor so they can watch their lives improve as they watch you grow and earn more. The people who have their kids at 50 so they can put them through the finest schools being raised by nannies/maids in a mansion aren’t around when their kids transition to adults, so those adults act out and don’t value anything.
My former boss:
– slow down and evaluate your life, but don’t dwell. The moment that coming home to your partner becomes a chore you dread it is time to have that chat with them and go separate ways. Resentment is very hard to bottle back up or move past, it often just grows.
My grandfather (RIP)
He fought in the Pacific during WWII and then a career as a motorcycle cop for the LAPD. He was a “man’s man” if there ever was one! He had some stories to share!
But he was always humble and good natured and respectful to everyone. As far as I am concerned he was the ultimate male role model and I will never forget him!
